UHRISTCHURCH. Saturday, July 29. (Before G. L. Mellish, Esq, R.M.) Drunkenness and Indecency.—Peter Jack, charged with being drunk and committing an act of exposure ia Cathedral square, was fined 20b. Drunk and Disorderly.—Three inebriates, who appeared for the first time, were each fined fis. Lunacy from Drink.—Jamea Graham, who was suffering from the effects of drink, was remanded to Lyttelton for eight days. Vagrancy. —A Chinaman, who had been found lying out in a paddock and was believed not to be in a right state of mind, was remanded until Monday, Committing a Breach of the Peace. —Anne Osborne and Jane Kinley, two disorderly women, were charged with fighting, the previous night, in Casbel street. Constable Reeve proved the offence. It was shown that Osborne had struck the first blow, and she was fined 20s ; Kinley was fined 10s. LYTTELTON. Saturday, July 29. (Before W. Donald, Esq., R.M.) Drunkenness and Assaulting the Police—Donald Jones, arrested by Constable Daly, was fined 20$, or in default one week's imprisonment.
