AMUSEMENTS.

THE LYDIA HOWARDE TROUPE. The hall was again crowded last evening, when the burlesque of " Nemesis" was repeated. The singing and acting of the company, as formerly, went remarkably well, and a due appreciation of the same by the audience tended to make the piece a great success. Miss Howarde received a perfect ovationforher singing of "Bid me discourse," whilst Misses Nye and Nevaro were equally well received in their efforts to please. Messrs Hill, Power, and Towle were very amusing, whilst Mr Cary's rendering of "Ihe Death of Nelson" was well received by the audience, and the make-up and_ acting of Miss Ashton evoked great amusement. The same programme will be produced this evening.
