CHRISTCHURCH. Wednesday, July 12. (Before Gr. L. Hellish, Esq, E.M ) Drunk and Resisting the Police.— Anthony Mclntyre charged with being drunk and resisting the police was fined 10s. Using Profane Language.— Mary Ann Sayers alias Gibson, who had been a! rested for using profane language in front of the Music Hall the previous night, was fined 10s. LYTTELTON. Wednesday, July 12. (Before W. Donald, Esq, R.M.) Drunkenness and Indecency.— Peter Euliind, an old offender, was charged with this offence. Constable Bullen stated that he arrested prisoner about seven o’clock the previous evening. The Bench fined the accused 20s, 'or, in default, ninety-six hours’ imprisonment with hard labour.
