The amount received by the Waste Lands Board yesterday, up to 4 p.m., was about £9OOO, when the sitting was adjourned until 11 a.m. this day. Several building lots and premises with in the City were offered yesterday, by Mr 11. E. Alport, at his rooms. There wes a very good attendance at the sale, but as the bidding's did not reach owner’s reserves, the properties wore withdrawn.
