There are iron boat davits in the starboard side of the quarter-deck, aud substantial towing gear abaft the boiler and mainmast, the boiler, we may observe, being abaft the engine. Abaftallis a companion hatch, leading down to a comfortable little cabin, lifcfed with cushioned seats, lockers, &c. The Age is steered from the bridge, and is supplied with good tackle and all other requisite appliances. She will run her official trial trip in a day or two.
