The ship Fernglen is expected to leave Wellington for Lyttelton to-day. At this port she will load for London. She will follow the Waipa for the New Zealand Shipping Co. The schooner Elizabeth Conway, hence, arrived at Nelson on Sunday. The schooner Tullochgorum is loading with produce at No 3 Wharf, for Adelaide. The brigantine Mary King left Oamaru on the 27th, for Wellington, produce laden. The smart little s.s. Tui, Captain Bonner, left Wellington at 5 p.m. on the 2'Jth, called in at Waipapa at daylight May 30th, arrived at Kaikoura &i 10 a.m, left 2 p.m. same afternoon, reaching Lyttelton at midnight. Experienced light S.E. breeze, with calm sea throughout run. Sailed yesterday afternoon. The Union Co's s.s, Hawea reports leaving Port Chalmers at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, and having fine weather to arrival at 9 a.m. yesterday. Came up under easy steam,!as no purpose would be served by arriving earlier. Sailed on Northern trip yesterday. The schooner Kaiuma, Captain Maule, reports leaving Hokitika on the 22nd, and having light easterly winds to Cape Farewell, which was passed on the 24th, thence southerly winds to Kaikouras, which were passed on Friday, thence light and variable winds to arrival on Tuesday night. The schooner coming up the harbor last night proved to be the Kaiuma, Captain Maule, from Hokitika, instead of the Theresa. We yesterday received a telegram from Captain Whitby to the following effect :-"The ketch Emerald arrived at Nelson on Tuesday evening; left Lyttelton Heads 9 am. Sunday." The fore-and-aft schooner Saxon left Picton on May 23rd in company with the schooners Spray and Flying Cloud, both for thi3 port. Anchored in Ships" Cove for 36 hours, and left again on Thursday morning in company with some vessels, and had a fine run until off Kaikoura. From there experienced light batliing winds aud calms to arrival. The N.Z.S.S. Co's s.s. Phoebe, Captain Worsp, arrived in harbor at 10.40 am. yesterday, from Northern ports. She was moored alongside the Gladstone Pier. Reports leaving Mauakau at noon on the 27thj arrived at Taranaki at 6 am. on the 28th; left again noon, and arrived at Nelson Wharf at 9 a m. on the 29th; left again at 1 p.m, and arrived at Picton at 9.30 on Sunday; left for Wellington 1 a.m. on the 30th, arriving at 6 a.m; left again for Lyttelton same day at 3.30 p.m, arriving in harbour as above. Experienced variable winds and tine weather throughout the passage. The Phoebe left for South at 1 p.m. yesterday. We thank Mr Barbor, the purser, for files and report.
