The arrival in Loudon of the celebrated pianiste and composer, Anton Rubinstein, is likely to be the chief musical event of this season. He was to make his rentrec at the concert of the Philharmonic Society, May Ist, and will also play at the Musical Union, besides giving four recitals at St James’s Hall. He is an artist of high rank.
