Mount Grey Downs.—A meeting of the joist committees of the Presbyterian Churches of Leithfield, Ashley, and Mount Grey Downs was held in the Mount Grey Downs Church, on Thursday evening last, Mr Carr, Ashley Bank, in the chair, A letter was read from Rev W. M'Gregor, Kaiapoi, which stated that the pulpits would be filled as usual until the end of the financial year (first Sunday in June), Mr D, Cameron of Saltwater Creek proposed, Mr J. Smellie, Leithfield, seconded “That Rev W, M'Gregor’s offer be accepted, with an addition of one service in every month, so as to have service in each place every alternate Sunday.” Carried unanimously.
