POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations:— Monday, May 15. For Akaroa, Timaru and Dunedin, per Wanganui, at 11,35 a.m. ; late letters, 11.55 a.m. ; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Phoebe, at 1.50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m. railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. Wednesday, May 17. For Northern Ports, per Hawea. For Kaikoura and Wellington, per Tui. For Otago, per Maori. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, June Ist. On and after Monday next, 15 th instant, mails for Temuka will close at 6 a.m, and 10.30 a.m, daily, J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
