POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations:— Tuesday, May 9. For Akaroa and Dunedin, per Wanganui, at 11.35 am; late letters, 11.55 a.m; railway, 12.25 p.m train. For Wellington and Nelson, per Kingarooma, at 1.15 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. Wednesday, May 10. T'or Dunedin and Port Chalmers, per Phiebe, at 11.35 p.m.; late letters, 11.55 p.m.; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. The next Australian mails will be despatched per Ringarooma, on or about the llth inst. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
