The chairman said it was remarkable how differently Mr Chew spoke when, as manager, he was drawing £3OO a year from the shareholders. Sanders, solicitor, died this morning, after a short illness. Mr John Hughes, storeman at Messrs Dalgety, Nichols and Co, died at the store suddenly to-day. He had been suffering from heart disease.
