POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — Friday, April 28. For Wellington, Napier, and Poverty Bay, per Ladybird, at 11.5)5 a.m.; late letters, 11.55 a.m.;railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. Saturday, April 29. For the Southern Provinces of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 11.35 a.m. ; late letters, 11.55 a.m.; railway, 12.25 p.m. train. The next outward English mail will be conveyed per s.s. Colima, and close at Christchurch May the 4th. J. J. FITZ6IBBON, Chief Postmaster.
