POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations:— Tuesday, March 21. For Otago, per Taranaki, at 11.85 a.m; late letters, 11.55 a.m,; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. Wednesday, March 22. For Otago, per Taupo, at 1.50 a.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern ports of New Zealand, and Chathams Islands, per Hawea, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. Thursday, March 23. Northern Ports of New Zealand, and Australian Colonies. A Post Office has been opened at West Eyreton, Mails close daily at 7 .a.m. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
