For Timaru, Port Chalmers, and Dunedin, per Maori, 1.50 p.m; late letters, 2.10 p.m; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. Friday, December 24. For Northern provinces of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 1.50 p.m; late letters, 2.10 p.m; railway station, 2 30 p.m. train. For Port Chalmers and Dunedin, per s.s. Taranaki, at 11.35 a.m. ; late letters, 11.55 a.m.; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train.
Saturday, 25tli December (Christmas Bay), being a Post Office holiday, all mails for despatch that day will close at Christchurch on Friday. 24th December, at 7 p.m. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
