POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations:— Wednesday, October 20.
For the Otago province, per Taupo. Closing time future notice. For the Northern Ports, per Phcebe. Closing time future notice. Thursday, October 21.
For Levuka (Fiji), Auckland, Napier, and Wellington. Closing time future notice.
The next outward English mail, via San Francisco, will close at Christchurch on Saturday, the 23rd instant; and for the United Kingdom, via Southampton and Brindisi, on Monday, the 25th instant. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
