Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — Friday, October 8. For Nelson, via Kaikoras, per Maori. Hour of closing future notice. ForDuneclin, per Ladybird, at 11.35 a.m. ; late letters, 11.55 a.m. ; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. Saturday, October 9. For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Taupo and per Taranaki. Hour of closing will be announced in a future notice. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
