POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: —> Thursday, September 16, For Dunedin and Port Chalmers, per Beautiful Star, at 11.35 a.m. Late letters, 11.55 a.m. Kailway station, 12.25 p.m. train. Friday, September 17. For Newcastle, N.S.W., per Island City, at 3.45 p.m. Correspondence for despatch must be specially addressed per Island City. For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Bruce, at 1.30 p.m. Late letters, 2.5 p.m. Kailway station, 2.30 p.m. For Dunedin, per Maori, at 11.35 a.m. Late letters, 11.55 a.m. Kailway station, 12.25 noon. Saturday, September 18. For Port Chalmers, Dunedin, and the Australian colonies, per s.s. Otago. Closing time future notice. A Post Office having been established at Longbeach (Ashburton district), a mail will be dispatched daily at 5.30 a.m., commencing on Monday, 6th Sept, 1875. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
