Blaker, from Newcastle, N.S.\\., in ballast. ~,T , Sept 14—Plimbe, s.s, 416 tons, Worsp, for Northern ports. SAILED. Sept 14—Star of China, ship, 794 tons, E. B. Blaker, for Newcastle, N.S. W., in ballast. The fine brig Albion, Captain W. A. Martin, left Kaipara at 5 p.m on the Bth Inst; had moderate winds N.E and tine-weathoruntil oil Cape Lgniont. Calms and light N. winds prevailed through the Straits and oil the Kaikoras; then a fresh gale from S.S.W, which lasted for twenty-six hours, and backed into the NAV. with fine weather till her arrival in harbor at 10 p.m on the 13th. The captain reports that he sighted three barques, one brif and a brigantine steering to the northward on Sunday, the 12th inst, lat 41.29, long 174.30 L. The three-masted schooner Eairlie, Captain G. S. Norris, is now on her way from the Thames with a cargo of timber for this port, and inay go looked for at any moment. Her agents, Messrs Meyers’Bros, that she will immediately upon discharge of her inward cargo commence to load up for Auckland direct, taking cargo also lor the Thames. The barque Hadda arrived In harbor on the 13rn inst at midnight, from Newcastle. She left that port on August 25th; experienced light winds from the S. and E. till the 29th; then N.N.W winds up till September 3rd; thence strong gale from W.S.W to S. On September 6th off Stewart’s Island, then strong gale from N.N.E. till midnight on the 11th, after which light variable weather till her arrival as above. Her cargo is consigned to P. Laurie. The barquentine Prince Alfred, Captain Bennett, tor Auckland and Thames with produce sailed yesterday afternoon. The schooner Excelsior for Picton sailed yesterday morning. ~. , , . The brig Sea Spray has about completed her ballasting, and will sail for Newcastle ahortly. The brig Albion was berthed yesterday to discharge her cargo alongside No 3 wharf. The barque Adelphoi, Captain Gregory, with about 500 tons coals for Messrs C. W. Turner and Co, was signalled and coining up the harbor last evening when our express left.
