Mails per Tararua will close as under : For the United Kingdom via Southampton and Brindisi, at § p.m. ; late letters, 3.20 p.m. ; railway, 4 p.m. For the East, the Continent of Europe, via France, Italy, or Trieste, the Mediterrean Ports, China, Mauritius, &c, &c, at 3 p.m. For Port Chalmers, Dunedin, and Australian colonies, at 3 p.m. ; late letters, 3.20 p.m. ; railway, 4 p.m. Posting newspapeis, 3 p.m. ; registered and money orders, at 2 p. m. Mails per Phoebe will close as under : For the United Kingdom via San Francisco, at 9 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, America, British North America, Sandwich Islands, Sandwich Islands, South America, &c, at 9 p.m. For the Northern ports of New Zealand, at 9 p.m. For the Chatham Islands via Auckland, at 9 p.m. Posting registered letters and obtaining money orders for Phcebe's mails, 5 p.m. Newspaper box will close at 8 p.m. Sunday, August 29. Supplementary mails per Phoebe, at 5.30 J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
