Steerage—Mr and Mrs Wanington, Messrs Nash, Larson, Peterson, James (2), Thompson, Bane, McDonald, Orman, and nine for South. August 25—Taupo, s.s., 461 tons, Macfarlane, from Northern ports. Passengers— Saloon : Mr and Mrs Briggs and family, Mrs Hoskins and fservant, Mrs Manning, Mrs Moffit, Mrs 'Barnard, Hoskins Dramatic Troupe (20), Ptev Habens, Messrs Williams, Davis, Rowlands, Moody, Parsons, and five in steerage. August 25—Ladybird, s.s., 286 tons, Andrew, from Port Chalmers. PassengersSaloon : Messrs W. Brown, Andrew, McDonald, Sheriff, Scott, Martin. Steerage: Messrs Davis, James, Watt, and ten for North. August 25—Nile, schooner, 24 tons, from Akaroa. August 25—Margaret, ketch, 24 tons, Bennetts, from Little Akaloa. August 25 —Kestrel, ketch, 26 tons, Butler, from the Bays. August 25—Southern Queen, 19 tons, Bell, from Akaroa. CLEARED. August 25—Ladybird, s.s., 286 tons. Andrew, for Northern ports. August 25—Taranaki, s.s., 299 tons, Lloyd, for Dunedin. August 25—Taupo, s.s., 461 tons, Macfarlane, for Dunedin. August2s—Clematis, brig, 249 tons, Garth, for Hobart Town. SAILED. August 25—Coq du Village, barque, Smith, for Bluff Harbour. August 25—Margaret, ketch, 20 tons, Nelson, for the Bays. The U.S.S. Co.'s s.s. Taupo, and the N.Z.S.S. Co.'s s.s. Taranaki, arrived in harbour this morning from Northern ports. Both steamers sail for South this afternoon. The N.Z.S.S. Co.'s Ladybird arrived this morning from the South. She sails for the North this afternoon. The barque Coq du Village sailed yesterday morning for the Bluff, with a cargo of iron ex ship Countess of Kintore.
