POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — Friday, August 13. Ship mails outwards—Nil. Saturday, August 14. For Northern ports, per Taupo, at 1.45 p.m. ; late letters, 2.5 p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. For Dunedin and all parts of Otago, pet Beautiful Star, at 11.35 a.m.; late letters, 11,65 a.m.; railway station, 12.25 noon. The movements of the Omeo being so uncertain, the outward mails to be dispatched by her will not be announced until the steamer arrives on the coast. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
