THIS DAY. ARRIVED. August 12—Taranaki, s.s., 299 tons, Lloyd, from Dunedin. Passengers - Saloon : Mrs Dounham, Messrs Hunter, Newman, Coates, Peters, Mundle, Sinclair, and 7 for North. Steerage—Messrs Thomson, Eld, Evans, Stevens, and 8 for North. August 12—Antelope, cutter, 27 tons, Malcolmson, from Akaroa. August 12-Lucy James, ketch, 27 tons, Clarkson, from the Bays. , August 12—Clematis, brig, 249 tons, Garth, from Ilobart Town. August 12—E. U. Cameron, schooner, 41 tons, Aschman, from Akaroa. CLEARED. August 12—Taranaki, s.s., 299 tons, Lloyd, for Noithern ports. SAILED. August 12—Prince Alfred, barquentine, 161 tons, Bennett, for Picton, in ballast. August 12—Mary Melville, schooner, 62 tons, Smith, for Auckland. The fine brig Clematis arrived in harbour to-day from Hobart Town with a cargo of timber and fruit. The Prince Alfred [for Picton and Mary Melville for Auckland sailed this morning. The s.s. Taranaki arrived this morning from South. She sails North this afternoon.
