POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — Wednesday, August 11. For Nelson direct per Maori, at 11.35 a.m.; late letters, 11.55 a.m. ; railway, 12.25 noon. For Dunedin per Wellington, at 11.35 a.m.; late letters, 11.55 a.m. ; railway, 12.25 noon. Thursday, August 12. For Northern Ports, per Taranaki. For Wellington, Nelson, and Newcastle, per Omeo, Time of closing the above mails will be announced in future notice. The post office at the Eaugitata Ferry has been removed to the Eangitata railway station, J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
