PORT OF LYTTELTON. THIS DAT. ARRIVED. August 6—Agnes Jessie, three-masted schooner, 187 tons, Phillips, from Kaiapara. Cargo, timber. August 6—Flying Squirrel, ketch, 25 tons, Munro, from Akaroa. August 6—Linnet, ketch, 20 tons, Smith, from Pigeon Bay. August 6—The s.s. Star of the South, 175 tons, Palmer, from Dunedin. Passenger— Mr Molleson. CLEARED. August 6—The s.s. Star of the South, 175 tons, Palmer, for Fiji via Northern Ports. August 6 —Laverick, schooner, 40 tons, Savoury, for Auckland. Cargo, produce. SAILED. August 6 —Pet, barque, 268 tons, Westbrook, for Hobart Town, in ballast. August 6—Courier, ketch, 30 tons, Sinclair, for Pigeon Bay, in ballast. The three-masted schooner Agnes Jessie arrived in harbour from Kaiapara this morning with a” cargo of 137,000 ft timber. The steamer Star of the South arrived in harbour at ten o’clock last night, after a thirty hours’ passage. She leaves for Fiji via Northern Ports this afternoon.
