(Press Telegraph Agency) ♦ THIS BAT'S TELEGRAMS. DuNEDisr, August 4. There has been another large fire here. At three o'clock this morning Coombs' tannery was entirely destroyed. The insurance was only £ISOO on stock and building, £IOOO being in the National, and £SOO on the Norwich. Mr Coombs estimates his loss at £IO,OOO. There was a very heavy stock. Nothing was saved. It is supposed that the fire originated in the same building where the grease, tallow, and shoddy were kept, from spontaneous combustion. Hokitika, August 4. Fizzey, a younger brother of Pizzey and
Co, brewers, committed suicide last night. His body was found in the office adjoining the brewery, with a pistol shot through his head.
