PORT OF LYTTELTON. THIS DAT. ARRIVED. July 30—Canterbury, schooner, 76 tons, Brown, from Picton. Cargo, timber. July 30—Marmion, schooner, 92 tons, Bowton, from Kaiapara. Cargo, timber, July 30—Bee, schooner, 30 tons, Green, from Amuri Bluff. Cargo, limestone. July 30- Clyde, s.s., 29 tons, McConville, from Saltwater Creek. Cargo, wool, &c. July 30- Bruce, s.s., 205 tons, Jones, from Dunedin, via Timaru and Akaroa. Passengers —Saloon; Messrs Denham, Booth, Boyd, Bell, and Shackell. Steerage : Miss Allison, Messrs Allison and Lindsay. The s.s. Bruce, Captain Jones, arrived in harbour at noon to-day, from Dunedin via Timaru, with cargo and passengers. The Bruce is notified by her agents to sail on her return trip to-morrow at 1 p.m. The topsail schooners Marmion'and Can terbury, timber laden, arrived in harbour yesterday evening, the former from Kaiapara, the other from Picton, There were no signs of the s.s. Star of the South up to the time of our express leaving.
