CHRISTCHURCH. Friday, July 2. [Before G. L. Hellish, Esq, R.M.] Drunk and Disorderly. —S. S. Brighting, for being drunk while in charge of a horse and cart, was fined 10s. Margaret McCallum, for drunkenness, fined 5s ; and Charles Walls and John Peel, charged with being drunk and using improper language, were fined 5s each. Illegally on Premises.— Wm. Phillips, charged with being found illegally on the premises of Messrs Matson and Co., was discharged with a caution. Breach of Railway Byelaws. —William Smith, who had been arrested for committing a nuisance in a railway carriage on the South line, was fined 10s.
