The Customs revenue collected yesterday was as follows:

Auckland. -—The “Herald” of the 26th ult. reports Trade is very quiet at the present moment, and there will probably be no revival for two or three weeks. Stocks, generally speaking, arc full, and shipments afloat are considerable. By the’Frisco mail invoices of the cargoes of the Robina Dunlop, the Fletchcro, and Lutterworth were received, but with the exception of the Robina Dunlop’s cargo wc arc not in possession of details. The Robina Dunlop sailed from London for this port on the 25th of March, and the following are the particulars of her cargo, which is not a very large one : Printed cottons, £92 ; haberdashery, £45; apparel, £3" ; felt hats, £IBO ; dressed leather, £IOSO ; saddlery, £429; sewing machines, £151; vestas, 40 cases ; agricultural implements, £63; rail and general machinery, £448; books, £6O; paper, 62cwt; paperhangings, £6O; stationery, £36; brushware, £lßl ; fancy goods, £172; pianos, £367 ; safety fuse, £192; hardware, &c, £2859; bar and rod iron, 61 tons ; lead, 7 tons; iron nails, 12 tons ; zinc, 7 tons; steel, ,4 tons ; quicksilver, 35 tons ; linseed oil, 400 gals ;; paint colors, £77; pitch and tar, 50 barrels ; glass,* £100; earthenware, £3O; woolpacks, £109; bran .and flour bags, £2B; cordage, £lOlB ; case brandy, 230 gallons ; rum, 1205 gallons ; geneva, 1100 gallons ; British spirits, 68 gallons ; red and white, wine, 563 gallons; beer (glass), 93 barrels; malt, 141 quarters ; oilmen’s stores, £39 ; caustic, 5 tons ; candles, 22 cwt; soap, 35 cwt; raisins, 5 cwt; apothecary ware, £45. The imports per mail boat were trifling, the principal line consisting of 300 cases of salmon. In spirits there has been little activity. Brandies, first brands, are scarce and rule high. Hennessy’s case is quoted at 33s and holders are not disposed to quit even at this figure. For Martell’s 32s is asked. Bulk Hennessy, for a line, is worth Ss 6d to 9s, and Marten's 8s to 8s 6d, Rum is in fair supply. and is worth 4s 9d to os. Ales are a perfect drug and cannot be moved. A little business has been done in stouts. Blood’s and Guinness’s, 10s 9d to 11s. Candles are not largely stocked, although recently added to; sales are making at IOJd to 10£d. At auction during the week, 350 boxes of an outside brand, new to this market, brought 10£d. In sugars the usual amount of business has been transacted. With the shipment per Roderick Dhu nothing has been done, the samples not be’ng suited to the requirements of this market. Company’s I.G. and No 1 are worth £33 10s; Y.C., £3O; Ist whites, £3O 15s: and 2nd whites, £35 10s. There has been but a small quantity of light Honolulus in the market, and no advices of future shipments; £2O to £2B is asked for that on hand. The old stocks of tea are being reduced in the face of the coming new season’s. Good brands of tobacco are still in short supply and active demand. Salt is easier, £4 15s all round being the quotation now. Devoe’s kerosene is not largely held but there are heavy stocks of Cleophene; Devoe’s is worth 2a Id to 2s 2d. Malt is also easier, and cannot be quoted much higher than 11s. A line of 10 tanka sold during the week privately at a figure withheld. Hons are worth about Is lod. Oilmen’s stores and groceries are inactive at present. The breadstufls market is well supplied, principally by the local mills. Two cargoes of Adelaide wheat have arrived, the last being per Victory, 2755 sacks, to order, and a third one is on the way. Adelaide flour is all out of first hands. Stocks of Southern are not excessive, and prices remain unaltered. First brands of local remain at £l2 10s, and household at £lO 10s. The market is on the whole a trifle easier. Bran at the mills lias been reduced to Is, the lowest figure it lias stood at for over two years. Oats are in good supply, and orders are coming forward for additions; the present quotation is 3s 8d to 2a Od. rotntoes arc rather low in stock, and command £5 to £5 10s, Several orders have gone forward to Australia for shipments, but no advices of any having sailed have yet been received. Cheese is in better at lid, and parcels are expected. Butter is also easier, sales making at led to 17d, but there in little disposition to buy at present. Shipments of hams and bacon to hand are of inferior quality, and sales are thus retarded. At auction, to-day, 10 cases Connell’s bacon was offered, but owing to the imperfections in the cure, a sale was not effected. Barley is quoted at 6s. 705 bags came to hand per Southern steamers this week. By auction Sydney maize brought 5s to 5s Ida day or two since. Timber is easier, and a fall of is on the East Coast has taken place owing to the large quantity of logs sent down by the late floods.
