The Customs revenue collected yesterday was as follows

The land sold at the Waste Lands Board yesterday amounted to 2124 acres, realising £4248. It is situated in the following«districts

Sales were made as follows: —Fat merino ewes, moderate weights, 6s to 7s 6d ; do do wethers, prime, lO.s 9(1 lo 13s 6d; half-bied wethers, full weights, las 3d to 15s 6d ; do do ewes, do 13s 6d to 17s 6d; do do wethers, medium weights, 12s to 13s ; do do ewes, do do, lls 9d to 12s 6d ; good store merino wethers, 7s 6d ; fat steers, from £9 to £lO 10s ; do COWS, £lO 12s 6d to £l2; do heifers, £6 158 to £lO 10s; store heifers, 2-year-old, £6 ; do steers, do, £7 5s ; calves, 7 to 10 months old, 40s ; station steers,.3-year-old, £6 10s; do do, 2-year-old, £5 2s 6d; do cows, £4 10s ; do heifers, £4 10s to £o 5s • do yearlings to 18 months old, .£3 2s (3d; Quotation for prime mutton, 2Jd per lb; do beef, 27s 6d to 32s 6d per )00lb. Several tons of tat cattle were bought in at 30s per 1001 b. The quotations for mutton are now affected by the growth of wool, and makes it difficult to name the value accurately. .
