The s. s. Taranaki arrived in harbour this morning at 9.30, from Noi’thern ports. She sailed for South at 1 p.m. The John Knox was towed out by the Gazelle, s.s., this morning, and sailed for Sydney. The Hawea, the new s.s. for the Dunedin Harbor Company, Captain Wheeler in command, arrived this morning at Port Chalmers, after a passage of sixty-four days.
