Duncan, Merivale —Specimens of woodstone and fossil shell, two bones of whale, specimen of rose-breasted cockatoo (Cacatua roseicapilla). Mr Thos. Waters, Glenmark—Specimen of Podicens rufipectus (little grebe). Mr W. P. Phillips, Ashburton—Specimen I of Eudynamis taitiensis (long-tailed cuckoo). Mr H. Bell Johnstone. Master John Graham, Lyttelton—Specimen of green lizard (Naultimus elegans). Mr J. O'Brien—Specimen of dolerite, five wood excrescences of the blue gum. Mr Charles Lezard—Fossil shell from the Waiho Mr H. W. Campbell—Collection of specimens of silex, from the hot springs, in the North Island; five vegetable caterpillars (Sphseria Robertsii). Rev R. S. Jackson—Polished stone implements, Melanesian Islands. Mr E. S. Willcox, Registrar Supreme Court —Specimen of antimony, Manuka mine, and of the sea horse (Hippocampus minor). Oliver—One basket, one fishing line and hook, two fans, one tapa cloth, and collection of marine shells, from the Samoa Islands. Mr W. H. Barnard, Registrar Schools of Mines, Ballarat —Collection of gold crystals. Mr Ed. Dobson, C.E., Engineer, Victorian Water Supply, Melbourne—96 specimens of rocks and minerals, from the waterworks tunnels below the Stony Creek water reservoir. Captain Clogstoun, Mount Four-peak Station—Large Collection of ethnological objects from the Tonga and Fiji Islands, collected by the late Mr Sherbrook Walker, consisting of 108 specimens. Mr Hugh Legrange, Amuri Bluff—Greenstone chisel, found at Amuri Blnff. Mr A. R. Creyke—7sbronze coins, Carthagenian, Roman, and Mediaeval, collected by him at Constantine and Carthage, North Africa.
