The barque Corredo, Captain Lamont, arrived in port yesterday at 4 p.m. from Newcastle, which port Bhe left on March 26th. Alter passing Cape Terawiti, experienced a strong southerly gale, and ran into Wellington, windbound. Lett on Saturday st 6 p.m. and arrived as above. The Emerald, ketch, Captain Whitby, left Pelorus Sound on the 13th. In coming through the Straits got caught in a sou'-faster, and took shelter in Port Underwood. Left on Friday morning, aud got inside the Heads on Monday at 5 p.m., and came to anchor at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. The barque Southern Cross arrived last evening from Hobart Town, via Dunedin, with a cargo of Tasmanian produce. Since her last appearance she has undergone some alterations, unci she now looks particularly spruce. Captain Boon is in command of her. The Hudson has taken in 2700 sacks wheat. The Avalanche will clear, if possible, to-day; hut, owing to the holiday, it may be deferred till Thursday. The W. W. Smith hauled out into the stream yesterday, and will take 400 tons of produce on board lor Auckland. She has 3000 sacks of whear in tanks on board for Loudon, besides 50 tons tallow, and 200 hides. After discharging her coastal cargo, she will fill at Auckland for London with kauri gum, cotton, and wool.
