SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS.

Friday, April 16

[Before His Honor Mr Justice Williams.] His Honor sat in the Court Chambers at 11 a.m. EE JOHN FITZGERALD, DECEASED, INTESTATE. On the application of Mr J. B. Gresson, his Honor made an order moderating the penalty of the administration bond. RE PETITION OF MICHAEL JOHN BURKE AND OTHERS, INFANTS. Mr G. Harper applied for an order appointing Maria Frederica Burke as guardian of the persons and estates of the above-named infants. His Honor pointed out that Mrs Burke was already testamentary guardian of the infants, which gave her power to sign leases and do all the acts which the appointment of a guardian by the Court would confer upon her. The course to pursue would be for Mr Harper to come to the Court stating the facts when any lease was required to be granted. No order made. RE MATTHEW GRAINGER. Mr Wynn Williams applied for an order directing*the trustees herein to pay a dividend on the estate to Thomas Grainger, rateably with the other creditors. His Honor made the order as prayed. BE JAMES FOLLAS. Mr J. 8. Williams applied for an order, fixing date of final examination of the bankrupt. His Honor made the order; final examination to take place on Thursday, sth May, RE CHARLES FRANCIS SEARLB. On the application of the bankrupt, the last examination was fixed for Thursday, 6th May next. RE ALEXANDER BROWN. Mr Slater applied for a similar order. His Honor made the order, fixing the last examination for Thursday, 3rd June, EE ESTATE OP JAMBS KERR, DECEASED; AND RE PUBLIC TRUST ACTS. On the application of Mr Harper, this case, which was an application for direction

upon certain points mentioned in the petition of the Public Trustee, was adjourned until Tuesday next, GOTTERMKVEK V HAUCK. In this case, which was an application on the part of the plaintiff to enter up judgment in default of plea, an adjournment to Tuesday next was agreed to.
