THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION.
To the Editor of the Globe. Sir, —Can you inform me how it is that clause 35 of the Municipal Corporations Act was not discovered to apply at the last election, when Mr Lee was allowed to go to the poll unchallenged. It is because now that his eligibility to fill the honorable position of coundllor has been increased by the recent scenes, his change of success was considered to be so much greater. Yours, &c., PAUL PRY. [We are not in a position to give the required information, possibly some of our correspondents can do so.— Ed. Globe.]
