CHRISTCHURCH. Monday, February S. [Before A. Lean, Esq., J.P.] DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. Samuel Williams, charged with drunkenness, was fined 10s. John Fleming, arrested for drunkenness, and using obscene language on the Ferry road the previous night, was fined 20s. Robert Tait, for being drunk and incapable, was fined 10s. ILLEGALLY ON PREMISES. Henry Allen was charged with being found illegally in Mr W. Wilson’s nursery garden this morning, at half-past one o’clock. Inspector Buckley told the Bench that accused had also been seen begging about town. , | Remanded for a week. ATTEMPT TO .COMMIT SUICIDE. Timothy Fahey, who had been remanded to Lyttelton on the charge of attempting to drown himself in the river Avon was again brought up. . , ; Mr Reston, chief gaoler, stated that the accused had been remanded twice, and was at present no better. A medical certificate to this effect was handed to the Bench by Mr Reston. Remanded until Tuesday for medical examination. . LUNACY: -1 ; ' ' ' William Bennett, who had been brought down from Mr Bruce’s station, near the Bealey, was remanded until Tuesday.
