MAGISTRATES’ COURTS.

CHRISTCHURCH. Tuesday, October 20. [Before C. C. Bowen, Esq., R.M.] DRUNK AND INDECENT EXPOSURE, Thomas Barrett and Thomas Cock, for this offence, were each fined 20s, or forty-eight hours. DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. John Gimblett, for being drunk while in charge of a horse and trap, was fined 20s or forty-eight hours. Timothy Delaney, for drunkenness, was fined 10s, or twentyfour hours ; and John Smith 10s, or twentyfour hours. DRUNK AND ILLEGALLY ON PREMISES, Hugh Travers was arrested for being drunk and illegally on the premises of Mrs Strong, Cambridge terrace, at three o’clock in the morning. The accused had been convicted eight times previously, and was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment with hard labor as a vagrant.
