Improvements in Lyttelton.— Piping is being laid down by the new fence to the Gladstone Wharf, to supply the steam cranes with water, the present line of pipes being found insufficient for the demand. The new fence has been completed, and is now being painted. The path is in tolerable order, and forms a most agreeable promenade.
