Globe office, Friday. Messrs Clifford and Roper held a sale of a cargo of Bays timber, ex Maiden City, at the Railway station, on Thursday. The sizes comprised from 3 x 2 to 6 x 6, including fin boards ; and the prices realised ranged from 14s 6d to 17s 6d. The cargo was in all about 40,000 ft, an 3 the average price realised was 15s 6d per 100 ft. The Customs revenue collected yesterday was as iollows : £ s. d.
