SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. Tuesday. August 4. (Before His Honor Mr Justice Gresson.) His Honor sat in the Court Chambers, at 11 a.m. Adjudications. In the following cases orders of adjudication were made, and the first meetings of creditors fixed as under : Re Alexander Craighead—(Mr Joynt), first meeting of creditors on Wednesday, 12th August, at eleven o'clock. Re Joseph Henry Bennett—(Mr Thomas), first meeting on Wednesday, August 12th, at twelve o'clock. Re Matthew Grainger—(Mr Slater), first meeting on Wednesday, August 12th, at one o'clock. Re E. T. Comer—(Mr Joynt), first meeting on Wednesday, August 12th, at two o'clock. Re Ebenezer Long —(in person), first meeting on Wednesday, August I2th, at half-past two o'clock.
Re petition of W. L. D. Wood and others, creditors of Hugh Andrews—(Mr Garrick), order of. adjudication made absolute ; first meeting of creditors ;uid for bankrupt 9 surrender fixed for Thursday, August Kith, at eleven o'clock. Re William Barnard—(Mr R'imford), first meeting fixed for 13th August, at twelve o'clock. Re Benjamin Salvin—(Mr Bimford), first meeting fixed for Thursday, August Kith, at half-past, twelve. Re James Johnson—(Mr Slater), first meeting fixed for Thursday, August I.lth, a! one o'clock. Re Robert Bampton Lane—(ln person), first meeting fixed for Thursday, August loth, at two o'clock. Final Examinations. The following orders for final examinations were made: — lie Charles Edward Dudley—(Mr Cottrcll), Thursday, August Kith. He Wm. Wright—(Mr Joynt). Thursday, 10th September. Re John Dix—(Mr Slater), Thursday, IOLh September. KE HOEATIO JAMES WOOD. Tn this case Mr Garrick, for Mr Wynn Williams, applied for an order directing certain household furniture, plate, linen, Sec. belonging to bankrupt, to be sold, and the proceeds applied for the benefit of the creditors of the bankrupt. His Honor made the order. RE ESTATES OP C. E. DUDLEY AND JAMES CRAIG. Mr G. Harper applied for an order consolidating the proceedings in bankruptcy herein. His Honor" made the order as prayed. GOODS OF ROBERT WHITELAW DECEASED. Mr George Harper applied for leave to issue letters of administration in this estate to Mary Anno Whitelaw, as widow of deceased. His Honor made the order. LUNATICS' ACT, 1 868, AND BE ESTATE OP JOHN HENRY, A LUNATIC. Mr Joynt applied on behalf of the agent, for the Public Trustee, for an order directing certain cattle to be sold and the proceeds applied in payment ot maintenance, debts, &c. His Honor granted the application as prayed. PERRY AND ANOTHER V RHODES. Mr Garrick, for Mr Wynn Williams, applied for an order making the order of 21st March herein a rule of Court. His Honor made the order as prayed. The Court then rose.
