Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations : For Dunedin, Bluff, and Australian Colonies, per s.s. Claud Hamilton, on Wednes day, June 24th inst,, at 11.15 a.m. For Wellington, Nelson and Australian colonies, per Otago on Thursday, June 25th inst., at 11.15' a.m.
For Northern provinces of New Zealand, per s.s. Taranaki on Wednesday, June 24th inst, at 2.30 p.m. For Timaru and Port Chalmers, per Beautiful Star, on Thursday, June 25th inst, at 11.30 a.m.
For Fiji, Sandwich Islands, United States, South, Central, and British America, West Indies, United Kingdom, Continent of Europp, &c, &c, via San Francisco, per s.s. City of Adelaide, on Wednesday, July Ist, 1874. Hour of closing in a future issue. Money Orders and Registered Letters on till 5 p.m., on Tuesday, June 30th inst., J. J. Fitz Gibbon, Chief Postmaster.
