SITTING IN CHAMBERS.

Tuesday, June 9. [Before his Honor Mr Justice Gresson.] His Honor sat in the Court Chambers at 11 a.m. RE LEWIS PARSONS. Mr Slater applied for an order of adjudication and fixing of first meeting of creditors. His Honor made the order as prayed, fixing Wednesday, June 17th, at eleven o’clock, for the first meeting of the creditors of the bankrupt. MOIR AND ANOTHER V. HIORNS. In this case Mr Wynn Williams was to hare shown cause to a rule nisi obtained i** April last, but the case stood over for argument until the 16th instant. RE TOWN HALL COMPANY. In this case, which was an application by Dr Foster for an order of the Court vesting the money now lying in the Union Bank of Australia in the two trustees for distribution amongst the shareholders pro rata. \ His Honor said that this case only came before him just previous to his leaving for the Court of Appeal, and he bad not had time to look through the papers. Dr Foster said he thought it would be better if his Honor allowed the case to be reargued. His Honor said that if Dr Foster wished a re-hearing of the case he would grant it. Ultimately after some discussion between the learned counsel engaged in the case. His Honor granted a re-hearing, subject to Dr Foster consulting his client on the subject, when a date would be fixed for rearguing the case. The Court then rose.
