Tuesday, June 2, 1874, hr Tosswtll to move—“ That a reply be adopted to bis Honor’s Address.”

Mr Dixon to move—That all papers and correspondence in the hands of the Provincial Government, relative to the formation of the Mftpdeville and Rangiora drainage district, be laid on the table of the Council.”

Sir Cuaceoft Wilson to move—“ That in the opinion of this Council it is expedient that the Canterbury Museum be opened to the public on the first day of the week throughout the year.” Mr Montgomery to move—‘‘For leave to introduce a Bill to repeal the * Executive Council Ordinance, 1864, Amendment Ordinance, 1868 and to amend the ‘ Executive Council Ordinance, 1864.’ ”

Mr Knight to move—“ That a return be laid on the table showing the number of cottages erected, and in course of erection in each Road Board district, for the reception of immigrants, together with the cost of each cottage.” The Provincial Secretary to move—- “ That Mr Webb be appointed chairman of, committees.”
