FAREWELL
SIR, CTTAS. FERGUSSON’S MESSAGE “WE LEAVE WITH THE HAPPIEST .MEMORIES” (Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 10. His Excellency the Administrator, Sir Michael Myers, lias received the following wireless. message from Sir Charles Fergusson : “Being now beyond ilie territorial limits of New Zealand, Lady Alice Fergusson and 1 send to yon and the people of New Zealand our warmest thanks for their ijiii.o.d kindnesses during five happy years, and for the wonderful farewell given us on our departure. Wo leave with the happiest memories, ana bid one and all farewell.”
Tho Administrator Ims sent the following reply:—
“I thank you on behalf of the people of Now Zealand for the kindly message expressed in your radiogram. The people, one and all. have made abundantly clear - during your farewell visits through the Dominion their sadness at parting with you both, and they will always remember with gratitude your own and Lady Alice Fergusson's great services during Hie past five years.”
