“IN OLD ARIZONA.”
“In Old Arizona” the big Fox out-uoor all-taikiiig production, featuring Warner Baxter, Edmund giowe and Dorothy Burgess, will bo. presented again tins afternoon an-i finally to-night at the Regent. Its incidents revolve around “Cisco Kiel,” 'a notorious bandit with a price on his head;_ Ins love affair with “Tonia Maria” a passionate half-caste girl, and _ “Sergeant Mickey Dunn” of the United '-States Cavalry, ordered to capture the bandit. Tom Barry, autlior of “Old Arizona,” visualised Sergeant Mickey 'as a handsome Irish-Ainoriea n from Brooklyn; a boy with plenty of “it.” a heart-breaker, yet of undaunted courage. A he-man in every sense of the word and a soldier first, last and all the tune. That is the role Edmund Lowe plays. Warner Baxter plays the Cisco Kid, Dorothy Burgess Tonia Maria, and a score of the leading film stars and featured p!avers are in the supporting cast. Brilliant talkie featurettes will also be presented, including The Fox Movietone News and “The Star Witness,” a riot of a comedy. “THE TERROR,” “The Terror,” Warner Bros.’ latest and greatest all-talking drama, to-morrow at 2 p.m. Spookv, thrilling., uncanny, ludicrous, absorbing. unique, are some of the adjectives applied to it. Based on the London stage play of. Edgar Wallace, “The Terror” was adapted for the pictures bv Harvey Gates. “The Terror” runs its gruesome course in an ancient English manor house, where a group of people—crooks, cops, crazy f'Tks, and hysterical ladies—seek hidden treasure and try vainly by spiritualistic seances and other unusual means to solve the mystery of the. cloaked fiend who haunts the house, casually -hearing this and that one to his underground torture chamber. No story of '“The Terror” would he complete without mention of “Scjueegee”, the trained toad, -who is a close rival to the “trained fleas”, of the dime museum.
