BRITISH WARSHIP TO ATTEND UNVEILING.
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Feb. 8. Air. Arthur iHendersou has addressed a letter to Sir lan Malcolm, ono of the three British directors of the Suez Canal Co. in, Paris, .informing bim that arrangements are being mode for His Majesty’s ship Caledon to proceed to Ismailia to be present at the unveiling of the monument which t-lie Suez Canal Co. lias erected there in commemoration of the services and sacrifices of t-lie Allied forces during the Great War for the defence of Egypt and the protection of the Suez Canal. Ah-. Henderson expressed on behalf of the British Government the hope that this monument inav perpetuate for all time not only the gallantry of the officers and r-en in whose memory .it is dedicated hut also the gratitude of those upon whoso behalf- the supreme sacrifice was made.
