Camera was given a favorable judgment, and received the full purse of 17,000 dollars (about £3400.) Rioux’s . handlers insisted, that the fight was not “fixed.” They said that Rioux was “scared stiff”. When asked why he failed to fight. Rioux replied: “I tried, hut after the first punch X knew nothing.” On February 6 at Newark (N.J.) Camera meets “Cowboy” 'Evens, who defeated Rioux’ and Petersen.
