It is in many respects a radical departure from the conventional pruduAtions with a tropiclocale, and its ingenious “fear plot and basis of native sorcery make it unusually interesting and absorbing. “Her Man o’ War” is a delightful picture, a new story of the war, vibrant with thrill and laughs—a noble thenu: of abiding love, at once romantic, appealing, delightful. “GUNS OF LOOS” TO-MORROW
Based un fact, is an original story “Guns of I Joes” the big attraction at tlie Majestic to-morrow, both matinee and night screenings. Never before, in a British picture, naive such thrilling scenes, as those depicting the effort at Loos to save the English guns, been seen. Tinincident which lorms one of the big thrills in “Hie Guns cf Loos”, was specially (Raged for the occasion. How exactly the wild ride of the men over war’ scarred and shellholed country, with gun limbers rlocking, from sido to side, was secured, is a secret which neither Sinclair Hill, the director of the film, nor hxs cameramen, will divulge. Henry Victor, who plays the leading part, in tlie film is seen as John Grim law, while Madeleine Garroll, Donald MuCaVdle, Bobby Howes, Hermione Baddeley and Adeline Hayden-Coflhi appear in the other important roles.
