GRAND GALA
WAIICA-NAE BEACH. On Saturday next a grand gala is being held by* the kind permission of the Waikanae Beach Society in aicl of the Mcßae Bath fund. The gala will commence in the afternoon and continue during the evening. The Breezy Buskers, who gave such a splendid entertainment on Thursday last, will apnear again in songs, dances and'sketches. There will be numerous sideshows lor children, including a Lunch and Judy and a Fairy Grotto. Every child attending' the latter will receive a present. Frizes will he given to children for sand building and loot racing. Mr Morrow’s Jazz Band will play at botn sessions. The queen carnival is now coming to a close so 'luring the final ctfortiT the Gisborne public are being well catered for as regards entertainment and the gala affords good opportunity to support their queens.
