CABINET CHANGES

“TIMES” SUGGESTS REVISION “TOO MANY PASSENGERS’ ’ LONDON, Jan. 23. Lt is persistently rumored that important Cabinet changes are likely to take place before Parliament meets in February. Revision is suggested as necessary by the London limes in an editorial, which is variously believed to lie inspired by Conservative headquarters , where a marked change in the management followed the Hon. F. S. Jackson’s appointment as Governor of Bengal. It is recognised that Cabinet is too large and is carrying too many passengers. The most prominent disappearance is expected to be Sir Philip CunlifFe-Lister, who may go to the House of Lords. It is understood consideration is being extended to the abolition of the Ministries of Transport, Mines and Labor, the functions of which would revert to the Board of Trade, as before the war.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
