This extra holiday will not, in any. wise affect the observance of the statutory half-holiday on Thursday next Drapery, clothiers, boot retailers, fancy goods, leather fancy goods, hardware, crockery, booksellers and •stationers, and furniture shops will ■observe a late night on Friday in lieu ■of Saturday. -.- Hu tellers’ shops will remain open on Saturday until the usual hour.
